What’s my purpose?

Confession, I almost didnt start this website. I thought I had to nail its purpose, to have a clear ‘vision’ of what it is and what it offers. And whilst I’ve got a certain perspective, how on earth would it grow and bloom if I put too much around what it is. I don’t know yet. I have visions, ideas of what it could be, but I want it to be an alive and breathing space. Its end purpose isnt 100% defined yet, and that’s exciting for me.

I’ve read so much about purpose, have you? I feel its such a current dilema, and I imagine us all looking around the house, in the pantry, the fridge, under the sheets or in the bed. Where on earth is my purpose? Or, I lost my purpose? Have you seen it? Either way, our culture definitely encourages us to look outward for it. Do you think it might be under 1% that encourages us to look inside? To sit and be with ourself?

But recently, I heard this about purpose in response to the question, how do I find my purpose and it sits so right for me & I hope for you too:

‘Think less about finding a purpose and think more about what you do that you can bring purpose to.
If you are bringing purpose to enough things it kinda guides you into something that is very rooted in service and then you feel that feeling of tiny things becoming one big thing’.
— Cleo Wade

Purpose and service, what a truly beautiful duo! And this is a way to find our way forward by bringing meaning and devotion to the small things, the everyday things. Its so achievable, so doable.

Lets get to it, bringing our attention and devotion to as many daily activities as we can and maybe taking some notes along the way.
