3 things for 12.24
Oh my. December is going by so quick. I want to step off for a moment, press pause and gather my thoughts.
To help me do that, I do these 3 practices. I hope you enjoy them too:
Slow Breath With Star Gazing; lying on the ground at night, let your eyes adjust and just gaze. Place your palm to your heart ♡. Let your breath settle and feel it slow down. A sweet and simple practice that supports your breathing and your tender heart.
The Ritual of Tea; brew a pot of your favourite tea 🫖 after its steeped pour it into your favourite cup, find a comfortable seat. Drape a soft pashmina over your shoulders, or anything soft, sip your brew and enjoy the slowing down that tea brings.
Read Your Favourite Poem/Passage/Psalm; do you remember a poem that you loved, a passage of a book that took you places, do you recall reading something that spoke to your heart? Take time, read it, aloud or to yourself or both. The power of the written and spoken word.
Try not to make it too long between making time for yourself. Self Care isnt just for the Yoga Mat, its for us, for every day.
