Can we offer that to ourselves?

The Beauty of Living, is about a deep appreciation for this life.

It’s a way of living that feels intentional, its an internal heart directive if you wish.

It’s a memo from your truest heart.

It’s a moving meditation on the actual beauty, of living. This sacred life, this opportunity we’ve been given is full, brimming to the top with moments for us to live with gratitude and wonder.

Our modern world has no shortage of ways to crowd our time, our days, our years and our lives. You know this to be true, don’t you. Like that ol’ saying ‘fail to plan, plan to fail’.

If we don’t take charge of our lives, grab the reins, our culture will fill it up for us.

And what a crying shame that would be, to live a life that at the end you realise you really had no say in. Because you were just cruising, hoping it will all work out, praying that people detect what it is you truly want, because you cant or wont name it yourself.

Can we make a pledge, or a promise to at the very least… each listen to our heart for a handful of breaths each day?

A ritual of sorts, a way to take the day back and become intentional and focused about how we want to live. What sort of mood we want for our lives? What’s the flavour if you wish? Spicy, cool, alive, chill.

Upon waking, tuck a little of the morning into your pocket as you sip your tea. Sit outside, be with yourself, leave your phone in the kitchen. And breathe. Feel into the beauty of living.

Can we offer that to ourselves?

xx
